On the treble there are four spaces in between lines. Going from the bottom space to the top space, the spaces spell "face". In other words, the first space is F, the second space is A, the third is C, and the last or top space is E. If you can remember that the spaces spell face that it is easy to figure out the notes on the lines in the treble clef. For example the first or bottom line is the note before the F so it must be E. The middle line is the not after A so it must be B. The top line on the treble clef is after the E so it must be F.
