Dogs have developed into hundreds of breeds. Breeds range in height from a few inches (the Chihuaua) to few feet (Irish Wolfhound). The colors of breeds range widely as well from wite to grays (sometimes referred to as blue) to blacks and browns (sometimes referred to as "red" or "chocolate"). Dog coats can be very short to very long and the coats range from very coarse hair (almost like wool) to straight, curly and smooth.
